Retarget Pages You Don’t Own!
Those of you that like re-targeting are absolutely going to love this tool! This little tracking tool allows you to re-target on pages that you don’t even own!
Have you ever wanted to put a re-targeting pixel on a website that you don’t own? When you send someone to GetResponse or to an affiliate offer page, you can’t track the re-targeting pixel because you don’t have access to the code to the website. With this retargeting tool, you can have a retargeting pixel for these websites!
Some of you are wondering what re-targeting is. It is actually just a way for you to advertise on Facebook effectively. After someone visits your website, you can advertise to them very affordably on Facebook. Have you ever visited an online shoe store and then went over to Facebook and the same shoes are featured on the side bar? That is re-targeting! Re-targeting is super cheap and it makes your advertising really effective. Up until now, you have had to own the website to be able to retarget.
The tool I’m talking about is called ClickMagick. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it as a tracking tool.
You may be thinking: I already have a tracking feature through Pretty Link or a similar plugin, but your plugin probably doesn’t do this…
(2 minutes into the video you can watch over my shoulder as I demonstrate how ClickMagick works.)
You can choose to “cloak” or “mask” your link. I suggest that you set this feature at “No.” A lot of affiliate programs don’t track the cookie if you cloak it.
You will notice that the form fields are familiar. This is what every tracking tool does. The magic happens under the “show advanced settings” area. Scroll down until you see the “Pixel/Code” field. Go over to the Facebook Ads Manager, copy your pixel code and paste it into the field. Scroll to the bottom and click on the “Create Link” button. Select the name of the link you just created from the list, click to open and find the new link. Be sure to copy the link and paste it into your browser to test and make sure it works.
Here is what happened in the background…
It went to the ClickMagick link, then it places the pixel and redirects back to the page. Now in my Facebook Ads Manager, I will see any visitors that went to the affiliate offer. This is really cool! You can use this for any link on the internet. ClickMagick is the only tool that I know of that has this feature.
If you would like to pick up this tool, click here. It will take you to my personal affiliate link. If you have any questions on how I’m using it, send me a message on Facebook and I’m happy to answer them. I know you will love this tool, especially if you are an affiliate marketer interested in re-targeting.
Let me know in the comments how you like ClickMagick.
